Alzheimer's Dementia

  • BEAM – Enrolling individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or mild Alzheimer's dementia to evaluate the effect of a medication on the formation of amyloid plaque in the brain.
  • STARBEAM – Enrolling individuals with moderate Alzheimer's dementia to evaluate the effectiveness of a combination of study medication and donepezil (Aricept).
  • HARMONY-AD – Enrollment completed in this study to assess a treatment for agitation and aggression in Alzheimer's dementia.
  • DAYBREAK – Enrolling individuals with mild Alzheimer's dementia to evaluate the effect of a medication on the formation of amyloid plaque in the brain.
  • TRIAD-2 – Trial to improve the effects of agitation in dementia.
  • IDEAS – An Alzheimer's Association sponsored trial to determine the value of amyloid PET scans in diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's dementia.

Cervical Distonia

  • REVANCE – Enrolling individuals with cervical distonia; treatment plan includes a new botulinum toxin.

Multiple Sclerosis

  • PASSAGE – Long-term study of individuals with multiple sclerosis taking disease-modifying therapies to assess the safety of those therapies.
  • POP (Plegridy Observational Program) – Enrolling patients with multiple sclerosis who are taking Plegridy in order to determine long-term effectiveness and safety.

Drooling

  • MYSTICOL – Enrolling patients with excessive drooling, regardless of cause, to study the effectiveness of botulinum type B (Myobloc) in reducing saliva production.
